April is "Poetry month". Friday the 17th, we listened to poets and to French pop singers who used text from Poets like Raimbaud, Boris Vian, Prevert, Baudelaire and many more in their songs. Click on my mustache below to listen.
We are at the heart of KWMR’s annual campaign, the first since the Feds put the squeeze on public media funding last July. I count on you to go to KWMR now to pledge your support, tell them I sent you.
On the 10th, we shared random French Pop songs including one by Céline Dion who just announced her return to the scene this fall! Click on my mustache below to listen.
At times we do not have a theme, we'll play a potpourri of songs, lots of good French Pop music from our shelves and drawers, including new recordings just received. Contact us below to let us know what you want to hear.
