On January 9th, we will give a tribute to Brigitte Bardot the singer who passed away at the age of 91 on December 28th.

 

On January 16th, we will rediscover the top French Pop songs of the year 2000.

 

On January 23rd, we will hear the French pop songs of 2010 by singers that were successful and are still producing songs.

 

On January 30th we will hear the French pop songs of 2010 by singers that were not successful and that we haven't heard from since.

 

ALSO, on January 30th at 5PM PT, for 2 hours my cousin Jacques from Nice will produce "Happy Hour", a French cocktail music program to unwind before the weekend.

 

On February 6th we will enjoy basic French pop music with Lara Fabian, Louis Chedid, Marc Lavoine and many more.

 

On February 13th, Valentine's we will discover love songs by new singers proposed by Sophie Cantier.

 

On January 1 The FRENCH CONNEXION programmed on KWMR a mostly French CLASSICAL music including Francis Poulenc and Babar the little éléphant, Maurice Ravel, Jean Baptiste Lully and more.

 

We just celebrated TEN YEARS of The French Touch on KWMR, and fifty years of Radio à la Carte in California! At about an average of 15 songs per show, that's over 7800 French pop songs shared with you just on KWMR! I am so glad we did it together, KWMR and you the listeners. Every Fridays at 4PM Pacific and for 2 weeks thereafter: "The French Touch", an hour of French Pop music with a theme, see above.

 

Mercredi 9heures à Paris, en Suisse, en Espagne [Tuesdays Midnight PT] et pour quinze jours après: "The French Touch repeat".

 

Every FIRST Thursdays at 2PM Pacific and for 2 weeks thereafter: "Thursday Classical", two hours of Classical Music on THE FRENCH CONNEXION, MUSIC by French composers, or French artists and performers and any other classical music you like. The next one is January 1.

 

Every Fifth Fridays at 5PM Pacific and for 2 weeks thereafter: "Happy Hour", two hours of French Cocktail music, moody and soft always with a cocktail recipe, produced and currated by Jacques in South of France. The next one will be on january 30th.

 

Occasionally, I will also sit-in to cover for other classical music producers.
